Bison Trails is a blockchain infrastructure platform that was acquired by Coinbase in January 2021. The platform provides a suite of services, including: “Query & Transact”, enabling developers to more easily retrieve and analyze data generated from blockchain networks for trading, research or development purposes, and “Participate,” enabling companies to participate in a blockchains proof of stake (PoS) consensus mechanism and earn newly issued cryptocurrency rewards. These services are integrated into Coinbase Developer Platform and are offered through the Coinbase website.
