Julia McDowell is a Venture Partner at F-Prime, investing in healthcare technology and services companies and helping them grow, including Axle Health, HiLabs, AmplifyMD, and Spry, among others.

Previously, Julia led the complex care delivery business at Galileo, Inc, a venture-backed, risk-bearing medical provider, serving seniors and medically complex patients in their homes and virtually. Prior to that, Julia held several leadership roles at CVS Health, including as Sr. Director of HealthHUBs, leading commercialization strategy, product innovation, and consumer experience for care delivery in CVS stores. Early in her career, Julia worked all over the world expanding market access to lifesaving drugs and services with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, including building and leading the organization’s first dedicated family planning program

Today, Julia serves on multiple non-profit boards including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, Inc. Julia is a former Fulbright Fellow and holds an MBA from Yale University as a Frederick Frank Fellow, an MPH from Emory University as a Woodruff Fellow, and a BA with honors from Brown University.
