Am is a Data Scientist for F-Prime’s tech fund, where he focuses on data science, automation and Enterprise IT. Prior to joining F-Prime, Am worked as a Data Scientist for John Hancock Investments where he helped develop models to predict why and when Financial Advisors would buy a specific financial product. Early in his career, Am worked at the Bollyky Lab at the Stanford Medical School where he worked as part of the team to analyze and predict T-Cell behavior for the paper: Hyaluronan synthesis inhibition impairs antigen presentation and delays transplantation rejection.
Am holds a B.S. degree from Northeastern University where he majored in Computer Engineering specializing in ML, Computer Vision, and Algorithms.
Rocio Wu is a Partner at F-Prime leading investments in FinTech and Enterprise software. Previously, she was an investor at Liquid 2 Ventures (founded by NFL hall of fame quarterback Joe Montana) where she invested in companies like Chipper Cash (an African cross-border payments company) and Overjet (artificial intelligence for oral healthcare). She was also a Sequoia Scout and an angel investor in Inworld.ai (developer platform for creating AI-powered virtual characters) and others still in stealth. Before investing career, she worked at Google and Amazon in a variety of operating roles such as CorpDev, GTM Strategy, Marketing across the U.S., Japan, Spain and China.
Rocio is a community builder and is involved in multiple groups that support the involvement of women and minorities in technology, including Xooglers, HBS Circles, and LatAm entrepreneurs. She’s physically based in the Bay Area, but you can often find her traveling to LatAm and other parts of the world learning about different cultures and ideas. Rocio holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Shanghai International Studies University (joint program with Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain).
Jackson Wilkinson is a Venture and Operating Partner with F-Prime, based in the Cambridge office. Jackson supports and advises early-stage healthcare and technology portfolio companies, getting hands-on to help accelerate early product, design, and engineering efforts.
Jackson has led product development at a variety of software companies. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer of Project Beacon COVID-19, rapidly expanding access to testing during the pandemic. Previously, he was Senior Vice President at PathAI and led product, design, and engineering, helping grow the company and its technology platform from seed stage through its Series B. Jackson was co-founder and CTO of Kinsights, and following its acquisition, led product and design as part of the management team at Care.com. Prior to his work in digital health and health tech, Jackson led design and UX efforts at consumer technology companies including Posterous (acquired by Twitter) and LinkedIn.
Jackson is a graduate of Bowdoin College, where he holds a degree cum laude in Music and Philosophy.
Grace Byrne is Director of Finance for F-Prime. Prior to re-joining F-Prime in February 2022, she worked on the management company accounting team at Monroe Capital. Grace also worked as a senior tax accountant at Ernst & Young, where she specialized in providing tax compliance services to clients in the private equity and technology industries.
Grace received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Boston College. She is a certified public accountant in the state of Massachusetts.
Anastasiya is a Senior Associate with F-Prime’s London team, focusing on healthcare investments. Prior to joining F-Prime in 2022, Ana was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey in London specializing in Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products. She had also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Advancy.
Ana holds a PhD in Stem Cell Biology and Medicine from the University of Cambridge (UK), a MSc in Molecular and Cell Biology from École normale supérieure (Paris, France) and a BSc in Biology from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine).
Rachel Woolbert joined F-Prime in January of 2022. She is the Executive Assistant to President and Senior Managing Partner Stephen C. Knight, MD Prior to F-Prime, Rachel supported the Founder and Chairman of Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG), a consulting firm advising wealthy family businesses. Prior to CFEG, Rachel supported the CIO of HighVista Strategies, an investment management firm co-founded by a Harvard Business School finance professor. Rachel started her administrative career at Harvard Business School, where she served as a Faculty Assistant and Unit Coordinator for 17 years.
Rachel received her BA from Harvard University Extension School, graduating cum laude.
Sarah Lamont is a Senior Associate at F-Prime, where she focuses on early-stage investments in fintech. Prior to joining F-Prime, she was a senior consultant at Oliver Wyman in the Private Capital & Financial Services practices, working with some of the world’s largest banks, private equity firms, and other financial institutions across the US and Europe.
In addition to her role at F-Prime, Sarah also co-leads the Boston chapter of the Emerging Venture Capitalists Association (EVCA) and is a Data Advocate for Fintech Sandbox, a non-profit serving fintech entrepreneurs by aggregating data and infrastructure for free during a startup’s development phase.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she majored in Mechanical Engineering and learned how to fly a Cessna.
Tierney Caputo joined F-Prime in September 2021. She is the Executive Assistant to David Jegen. Prior to F-Prime, she worked as an Executive Assistant and Event Planner. Tierney received her BA in Communications and Public Relations from Virginia Tech.
Erica Lee is a Senior Associate at F-Prime, focusing on investments in healthcare technology and services companies. Prior to joining F-Prime, she was an investment banking associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she advised on IPO and M&A transactions across the healthcare IT space.
Erica holds a B.A. from Georgetown University, where she majored in Finance and International Business.
Garth Rapeport joined F-Prime in 2021 as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence on the healthcare team. Garth is visiting Professor at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Imperial College School of Medicine in London. He was previously co-founder and CEO of Pulmocide and Respivert Ltd. which were drug discovery companies focused on the identification of novel disease modifying treatments for severe asthma and new generation inhaled antiviral and antifungal agents.
Garth is a medical graduate who undertook post-graduate training at the Universities of Glasgow and Oxford. After working at Pfizer Research in the UK he moved to GSK where he was SVP of Drug Discovery in the Respiratory area in which he led the discovery and early development new inhaled therapies for asthma and COPD.
